Located in north San Diego County, Vista is accessible from both State Route 76 (SR 76) and State Route 78 (SR 78). Major thoroughfares include Santa Fe Avenue, Melrose Avenue, Bobier Boulevard, Vista Way, and Vista Village Way. San Diego International Airport is approximately 30 minutes to the south and two Sprinter rail stations connect commuters to Escondido and the Metrolink, Coaster and Amtrak connections at Oceanside.
