Overview
Romoland was founded in the late 1880s by a Greek immigrant who operated one of the first wineries in the State and planted acres and acres of oranges alongside the grapes. While a portion of the Romoland community was incorporated in 2008 with the new City of Menifee, much of the original agricultural community remains a distinct area rich in history and continues to produce farm crops sold throughout the United States. Many of the homes are large, rambling ranch styles with acreage while newer developments in the area have been traditional residential lots.
