Overview
Perris was incorporated in 1911, a vibrant hub on the Santa Fe Railroad line and home to some of California's most important agricultural industries. The city has come a long way in the past 100 years, embracing new residential communities while maintaining the early century western feel that has come to define downtown Perris. A unique mixture of big name commercial and quaint local business, downtown is once again revitalized as the city prepares for the arrival of the county's newest Metrolink station. Homeowners look forward to the added convenience of commuting by train, soon being able to connect to Riverside, San Bernardino and Los Angeles from the convenience of downtown Perris.
