Overview
Moreno Valley is central Riverside County's eastern gateway, with convenient access to downtown Riverside, southwest Riverside County and the desert communities of the Coachella Valley. Once rural farmland, the community now has a comfortable mix of estate residential and traditional housing neighborhoods. Moreno Valley is home to March Air Reserve Base, creating patriotic enthusiasm throughout the community. Riverside County Regional Medical Center is also located in town, providing substantial opportunities for employment in the health care industry.

Transportation
Interstate 215 and U.S. Highway 60 both bisect the community. The major thoroughfares are Perris Boulevard, Redlands Boulevard, Cactus Avenue, Alessandro Avenue and Moreno Beach Drive. Ontario International Airport is approximately 30 miles to the west. Palm Springs International Airport is 90 minutes away.
