Escondido sits at the intersection of Interstate 15 and State Highway 78 (SR 78). Major access roads include Escondido Boulevard, San Pasqual Valley Road, Via Rancho Parkway and Del Dios Highway. Conveniently located along I-15, downtown San Diego is a short 30 minutes away along with access to San Diego International Airport. The Sprinter commuter train begins its run to the coast in Escondido, making commuter and Amtrak train travel easy and convenient.
